Good morning everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with another from my challenge to myself to use my existing stash with a Penny Black card. I have had these stamps for years but I have always been intimidated by colouring animals for some reason, but now I have challenged myself I am facing this fear head on! :-)
I coloured them with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics, then cut around it with a nestie. I used Bo Bunny papers and used the first paper as a mat for my image. I then made a background with panels of paper on brown and cream card and placed these on my card. I used a Memory Box die as a border cut out of Papermania cardstock, and added American Crafts ribbon to this. Lastly I added three buttons in coordinating colours and a 'Happy Couple' greeting.
Good morning everyone, sorry this post is a little late-I scheduled it but got the date wrong, silly brain! :-) Here is my DT card for the new challenge at Sarah Hurley Challenges this week which is 'Something Magical'. For this project I used Sarah Hurley's Fairyland CD with the only additions being die cut clouds behind my Sarah Hurley Rainbow clouds cut with a Memory Box cloud set, a Butterfly border also cut with a Memory Box die and Papermania Cardstock. I love, love, love this CD and I wonder why with all those Butterflies?! ;-)
Good afternoon everyone, here I am with my Guest design project for the lovely Christine Gray at My Crafting Heaven using her fabulous Lighthouse digi. I love this, its so simple but gorgeous to work with.
I coloured the image with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, then cut with a border of the while paper to give it a sketchy look. I then mounted this on white shimmery cardstock. I then used Papermania Burleigh Blue papers as my base.
Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with a card using a new stamp by Wild Rose Studios with some free papers also by Wild Rose studios from a magazine. I coloured the image with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics, and made my clouds with a mask and dabbing ink from a paintbrush to create fluffy clouds :-) I also used Papermania cardstock, Wild Orchid Crafts Roses, Lace, Papermania bow, and Card Candy.
Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with another of my cards from my challenge to myself-use the stash you already own in different ways. For this project I stamped my ship with brown Memento and coloured with Promarkers. I then distressed the image cut with a nestie with Tea Dye Distress inks and then distressed my Papermania Portobello Road papers with this ink too. I placed these on a Kraft card mat then placed them on a white card blank. I then embellished with Portobello Road ribbon, bow and buttons.
Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with another one of the cards of mine to challenge myself to use what I already own to craft with and to create outside of my comfort zone!
I stamped the ship in brown memento and coloured with Promarkers, I then cut round with a nestie. I then coloured round the edge with Rusty Hinge Distress ink and mounted on shimmery brown cardstock cut with a scalloped nestie. I then used Bo Bunny papers as my base and left the bottom left hand corner open where I stamped the accent stamps directly on the Kraft card base with Black Memento. I then used a Memory box die to cut a border out of gold shimmer card and placed along the bottom, then added My Minds Eye Bloom and Grow fibres as my border on the opening edge of the card. Lastly I used wooden buttons as my embellishments.
I am here to show you a card made by Sandra at Nanagramps Craft Designs using the Fantastic Ribbon Candy she won on my blog-isnt it just gorgeous?! I love all her details, and the ribbon really does finish it off :-) Thank you for entering Sandra, and for letting me show off your lovely creation using your candy :-) I have candy running at the moment which ends soon so please enter-you can find it in the sidebar :-)
Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are well :-) My card is another one from my challenge to myself to use the stash I already own to create from-these Penny Black stamps I got for my birthday a few years ago but I have to admit I have never really used them because I find little creatures a challenge to colour! I coloured them with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, then cut round it with a nestie. I then chose My Minds Eye Stella papers I love but I havent really used much yet. I used Coredinations card which complimented these colours to cut a scalloped oval with a nestie. I also used Kraft card as my base under the papers. I arranged my papers then added American Crafts Polka dot ribbon, three buttons, a 3D Butterfly and a trail of pearls from the butterfly to show its path.
Good morning everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with something very different for me. I have challenged myself to use some of the stash I have in new ways from my usual style so here is the first of my new cards-I hope you like it!
I used Dovecraft Garden Party papers cut with Sizzix Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die and Spellbinders dies for my butterflies. I then edged these shapes with chalk inks to distress them. I then made a background with these papers on an elegant shaped cream card blank which I also inked the edges to match.
Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with my DT card for our challenge at One Stitch at a Time this week where our theme is 'Back to School'. I was given this fab silhouette digi by Stitchy which I cut round and mounted on My Minds Eye papers which I backed with dark brown cardstock. I then made a patchwork background to echo the moment in the digi, and added a wide border backed with the same cardstock as the focal point. I then embellished with large buttons.
Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well! Here I am with my DT card for this fortnights challenge over at Dream Valley Challenges where our theme is 'Steampunk'. For my project I used Sarah Hurley's Steampunk CD for the papers, bingo card and cog paired with a clock digi from Stitchy bear digi stamps.
Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with my DT card for One Stop Craft Challenge and our theme this week is 'Sketch'. You can find the sketch on the challenge blog here. I chose one of my favourite Lili of the Valley stamps coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers to coordinate perfectly with the Papermania Burleigh Blue papers. I also used paper flowers from my stash, Burleigh Blue buttons and a Glittered Congratulations greeting from the Papermania Tulip collection.
Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well! Here I am with a Saturated Canary card inspired by the gorgeous Photo inspiration on the Saturated Canary Challenge blog :-) I have coloured her with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics to match the gorgeous papers by Lucy Cromwell for Papermania. I just added Coredinations cardstock, Papermania shimmer gems, Papermania Dome Greeting and American Crafts Polka dot ribbon to complete my card.
Good evening everyone, hope you are well :-) I am getting back into the swing of things after my little break so bear with me :-) Here I am with a Saturated Canary card using one of my favourite combinations of the moment-this digi and Echo Park 'Yours Truly' paper kit I found in the sales. I coloured her with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics. I then used the Echo Park papers and embellishments, Coredinations cardstock, American Crafts polka dot ribbon and Card Candy.
Good afternoon everyone, sorry about my lack of posts recently, I needed a little break as I was poorly but I am back and raring to go as I missed you all!
Here I am with a Saturated Canary image which I love, I used to dance when I was younger and love it :-) I coloured her with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics in colours which complimented the Papermania Capsule collection papers and embellishments. I also used Papermania cardstock and American Crafts polka dot ribbon.
Good evening everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with my DT card for Dream Valley Challenges where our theme this fortnight is 'Die Cuts and Punches'. For this card I used a Saturated Canary image ( can you tell she's my favourite?!) which I coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics to match my Lucy Cromwell papers from Papermania. I then cut round the image leaving a wide border and placed her on a panel of patterned paper matted on White glitter card. I used complimenting papers as my base then made a border with another paper with the addition of some American Crafts polka dot ribbon. I placed her panel at a slight slant to add interest. I cut butterflies from white glitter card with a Memory box die, and a Spellbinder die. I placed the little butterflies fluttering away from her net and a larger butterfly as a 3D embellishment in the right hand corner. Lastly I added three card candy at the top left hand side to balance my embellishments.

Good evening everyone, hope you are well :-) I'm here with my DT card for One Stitch at a Time Challenges where our theme this week is 'White plus one'. I was given this lovely digi to work with which is available at the store. I coloured her with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics to work with Papermania Aqua Capsule Collection papers, some of my oldest design papers but a firm favourite of mine :-) I chose three complimenting papers which I used as a base, panel for my digi to rest on and as a border. I wanted a simple look to this card so I kept the sketch simple. I placed the panel with my image on the negative of the White glitter card I had cut to make embellishments as sometimes having both the die cut negative and the die cuts together on a card can really tie it together and it's on such pretty card which glistens in the light. I then placed five little butterflies fluttering up the right hand side of the card and a 'With Love' greeting on the opposite side where she it's pointing.

Good evening everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with a Christmas in July project for the challenge at Lili of the Valley using one of my favourite stamps from last year. I coloured the image with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, then used Deco art glitter on the snow so it sparkles in the light. I then placed this on a brown card stock mat cut with the next size up nestie I used for the image. I then used Bo Bunny Snowfall papers for my base and as a border. I love these papers and the swirls in the background paper were perfect for this image. I then used Card Candy as embellishments and a 'Let it Snow' peel off. I dont usually use these but I like these ones and they go well with the tones in the papers.

Good morning everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with a card made using my new favourite Saturated Canary digi-she's gorgeous! I started by colouring her in Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics to match the peach tones in my My Minds Eye papers. I then placed her on a mat of peach glitter card cut round her as a border. I cut my main patterned paper in interesting angles and then placed it on two other patterned papers from the stack. I then used another as a border. I then embellished with butterflies cut from peach glitter card with a Memory box dies and the same for the butterfly border. Lastly I added a 'Happy Birthday' greeting.
