This card was inspired by the sketch over at Lili of the Valley this week. I coloured the gorgeous stamp in Promarkers after stamping in Memento. I used Duck egg and Orchid for her dress and accessories. I used Magnolia paper, and My Minds eye paper in panels, and Coredinations cardstock. I placed the stamped image on the doily and used five paper roses on the left hand corner of the doily in colours that complimented the papers. I made a little flower in the bottom right hand corner using folded strips of the paper I had cut, and with a button placed in the middle. I then placed the butterfly greeting in the top right hand corner and made a trail of gems from the flower up to the butterfly.
So sorry this is late-our internet has been playing up grr! Anyway our challenge over at My Partner in Crafting Crime this fortnight is 'Lets hit the beach'-very suitable for this heatwave we are having at the moment! This will be our last challenge until September so make sure you come and join us to win some goodies for the summer!
I chose to make a shaker card with a lovely digi I won from delicious doodles-isnt she gorgeous! I coloured her with promarkers and coloured her tail and shells in aqua and orchid. I then chose sequins that alter in the light between aqua and purples and placed them all round her. I use Basic Grey paper which looks like under the sea to mount her on. Lastly I made my shaker frame with acetate and coredinations cardstock. Lastly I embellished with real shells from the beach nearby, buttons and a gem. I placed the greeting 'The tide always turns' in the top corner.
Time for another challenge at One Stitch at a Time, and this week our challenge is 'Wedding or Sympathy'.
This is a quick post because our internet is down and I am having to use someone elses so I apologise for the less details. I was given a lovely digi which is available at Stitchy Bear Digi store, and I printed this onto sand coloured printable vellum. I then printed this off and attached it to a 6x6 card blank and cut an aperture in the middle. I then coloured the lilis with promarkers. Next I mounted pretty paper inside the card blank and stamped 'With Sympathy' in complimenting colour to the lines in the paper. I then stamped with corner stamp to create a lovely embellishment to tie it all in.

For this project I used: Tilda stamped in Memento and coloured with promarkers, Glossy accents, Picnic Papers, Paper flowers, Red card, Bow, Heart pin, Buttons, and glitter ribbon.
I accented Tilda's red shoes and egg white with glossy accents which I love the effect of-it makes it look more realistic!
My first Christmas card for 2011-Thanks to our challenge at One Stitch at a Time Challenge. Our prize this week is a £10 voucher for Joanna Sheen so I hope to see you joining in-you may win the chance to buy shiny new stash!
I apologise for the lighting of this photo, it doesn't show the vibrancy of the card-it has bright colours and shimmer with the glitter :-( I had a lovely digi to use 'Birds on Christmas Rooftop' from Hope Jacare Doodles available at Stitchy Bear Digi Store coloured in Promarkers and glittered with white glitter for snow. I then added red gems on the Christmas tree. I mounted the digi on mirri card then added 'With love at Christmas' and a snowflake from a sheet of peel offs. I then punched out Snowflakes with punches out of glitter card and arranged them around the frame.
I used two Dovecraft design papers as my background and then placed the image on 3D foam.

I was inspired by the Music challenge at LOTV this week-I instantly thought of my lovely new Pirate boy stamp from them and wanted to play. Pirates are special in our town, we have a lot of Pirate themed dress up days so I thought it would be a good theme for my dad's fathers day card.
I coloured the image which I stamped in Memento with Promarkers. I started with a white card base, then layered up with Kraft card. I then used My Minds Eye papers to make like a patchwork quilt look, three panels of three different patterned papers. Next I cut a border out of MME papers, and tore blue cardstock to mount it on.
Next I mounted my image on a panel of patterned paper, then mounted onto blue cardstock which I tore along the bottom. I mounted this onto Kraft cardstock to really show the effect. I then hand wrote the song lyrics on a small square of patterned paper and mounted this onto Kraft cardstock and attached with 3D foam pads. Lastly I added two metal stars, three buttons and a strip of glitter ribbon.
I'd love to know your feedback :-)
Good morning, hope you are all well :-) Its saturday morning and so its time for the One Stop Craft Challenge and our theme is 'Stick it'-use a sticker in your creation. We were given this lovely digi from Sassy Studios to play with-isnt she lovely? :-)
I started by colouring her in nude colours and reflected this by the papers and embellishments I chose. I added gems to her bow on her top, and on her shoes. I made a border with two ribbons and a cream lace in the middle. To this I then added a cream bow in the middle of the top and added three lovely heart pearls in a row.
I added a border of Coredinations gemstones card and placed my dome sticker and finished with two pearls, one either side. Lastly I added pretty roses.
I have been playing with colouring this week-I followed Bev's tutorial for creating clouds and I am really pleased with how they came out :-) I would love to know what you think!
For this card I used: My Minds Eye Pretty Please papers, Sarah Kay image stamped in Memento and coloured in promarkers, and clouds with blue papermania ink, Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly border punch, X Cut Butterfly punch, Papermania glitter card, powder blue cardstock, gems, polka dot ribbon, and Lili of the Valley stamped sentiment.
The little butterflies flying around her are cut from the MS border punch, and embellished with little gems-as are the little glittery butterflies on the ribbon to match the larger butterfly punched with the X Cut punch.
So sorry this post is late-I woke up this morning in awful pain :-( Anyway, this fortnight at My Partner in Crafting Crime our theme is 'Tutti Fruitti' and my mind straight away thought of this gorgeous Whiff of Joy stamp as perfect for the theme :-)
For this project I used: Whiff of Joy Stamped in Memento and coloured with promarkers, gorgeous fruit cardstock, Green and red Mulberry paper, paper petals with a green brad as the centre, a cherry border and lastly a pretty little bow to finish.
Good Morning everyone! The theme this week at One Stitch at a Time is 'Tag it' and here is my effort! I was given the gorgeous Kitty Play by Bonna-isnt she just adorable?! She is available along with other lovely digis at Stitchy Bear Digi Store.
I was put in mind by this digi of old fashioned books I read when I was little that my Grandma kept of my mothers so I wanted to capture that in my creation.
I used My Minds Eye Wild Asparagus papers, Textured cardstock in a complimenting colour, a vellum tag to which I added a 'You're Special' Vellum sticker, gingham buttons, pink ribbon, wooden embellishments, lace and gems.
Our prize for our winner this week is 5 digis of your choice from the Stamping Boutique so please join in!
Good morning, sorry I havent been posting much recently-I have been feeling poorly and I have been desperate to get back to my lovely blog! For this project I was inspired by the spring weather we are enjoying at the moment-one minute beautiful sunny skies and the next it is pouring with rain!
I coloured Tilda in complimenting colours with my promarkers, then found matching colours in these gorgeous papers I found in my stash-sorry the colours arent as vibrant as in real life but the sun seemed to lighten the vibrancy when I took the photo. I used little complimenting coloured satin flowers, and even stuck them within the pattern of the paper in the back panel to really tie them in. I also added a couple of butterflies, one wooden flying along the middle panel with a gemstone trail, and one 3D butterfly with another gemstone trail on the back panel. I placed the greeting 'Happiness be yours' by the butterfly on the back panel. Lastly I added three of the satin flowers with gemstone centres on the front panel.
I hope you like it!

This week over at One Stitch at a Time we are celebrating 'Graduation/School's Out' I would love to see some of you come and play along!
I was given 'Shy Girl' by Barb available at the Stitchy Bear digi store, and coloured her with Promarkers.
For this project I used: Coredinations cardstock, White cardstock, Anita's Glitterations greeting, Papermania peel offs, stitched design paper, and Purple metallic brads.
I mounted the coloured digi onto purple Coredinations cardstock, then mounted this onto a panel of the same cardstock covered with design paper. I attached this to an easel card base.
I then echoed the top of the easel card with complimenting papers on the bottom panel. I placed a strip of Coredinations cardstock as an anchor and decorated with metallic brads and placed a 'Best Wishes' greeting along the middle.
I then embellished the top of the easel card with black peel offs, and metallic brads.

Today is a new challenge at One Stop Craft Challenge and our theme is 'Texture'. I would love to see some of you come and join in-we always have great prizes!
For this project I used Tatty Teddy Ultimate Decoupage set, Embossing folders and nesties run through my Cuttlebug, Swiss dots and a free flower embossing folder from a magazine, Pink Coredinations cardstock, Buttons and pearls.
I started by cutting a panel for my decoupage image and one for my greeting with my nesties and then putting them through the Cuttlebug in embossing folders.
Next I put together the decoupage, and mounted it onto the large nestie. I then made an easel card blank, and covered the top panel with yellow butterfly papers. I then mounted the large nestie in the centre of the top panel.
Next I mounted yellow and pink paper on to Coredinations cardstock, and added a little panel where I mounted the little nestie with the greeting on as an anchor. Lastly I added four little buttons and a heart gem.
