Art Deco Special Pocket Card

Good morning everyone, I hope you are well :-) I am here with a special pocket card I made with Papermania Art Deco elements, Glitter cardstock, Glitter Ribbon, Metallic Cardstock, Feathers, Gems and pearls, eyelets and twine.
I started by creating a tri fold card with a pocket at the back panel for a tag.
I decorated each panel differently using similar themes.
On the back panel I embossed the metallic cardstock with an art deco embossing folder and added the image in the centre.

Crafty Ribbons Challenge-Animals at Christmas

Good morning everyone, hope you are well! I am here with my DT creation for our 'Animals at Christmas' challenge at Crafty Ribbons Challenge this time.
I used Mice Christmas Ribbons which I paired with a mouse image by Penny Black, a kraft bag, hessian flowers, gems and Silent Night embellishments and papers by First Edition.
I coloured my image with promarkers and then added glitter onto the flakes of snow in the photo and on the ice. I covered the bag with papers then added ribbon to the join of these. Next I added my image and then decorated with flowers either side of it. I also added two more ribbons from the Mice Christmas Ribbons collection to finish.

Backlit 3D Embossed Heart Canvas

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well! I am here with a present for a friend :-)
For this project I used blank canvas, linen cardstock, led lights, clear holographic embossing powder, heart dies, cosmic shimmer pigment powder, needle, thread and glue.
I began by sewing the led lights into the back of the canvas using a needle and thread. Any ends of the threads I secured with a knot and a dab of glue to seal.
I then cut a panel of linen cardstock to cover the front of the canvas. I then ran this through my die cutting machine with all the heart dies in a nesting pattern. I then embossed and coloured some of the die cut hearts with clear holographic embossing powder covering stamped swirls and I painted the colour with cosmic shimmer powder (so in real life its dark and pearlescent and as you move the hearts look a different shimmering colour or shine depending on the angle). I then glued the panel and hearts onto the canvas. The hearts I had left blank I glued directly onto the canvas like the outside of the heart-and then pierced with a needle in heart patterns so you can see the light coming through those areas clearly. I then bent the coloured hearts so they are 3D compared to the rest of the heart.
I have shown the canvas with the lights off/on so you can see the difference :-)

A Little Bit Crafty-Less is more! Midway Inspiration

Good morning everyone, hope you are well! I am here with some midway inspiration for our 'Less is More' challenge at A little bit Crafty!
I used a new die for the butterflies in the shape of a heart-its a Memory box die. I began by cutting a panel to fit the front of my card. I then put this through my die cutting machine to get the butterfly heart effect. The butterflies arent cut completely from the cardstock, just the edges so they give the look of flying. This is a challenge for how to include colour in these so my workaround was to paint the butterflies with assorted colours of cosmic shimmer. So in person this card is really pearlescent in look. I then added a panel of pearlescent cardstock in a complimenting colour behind my butterfly panel. This shows through the undersides of the butterflies too.
I then mounted all onto a card blank.

LOTV Watching and Waiting Christmas Card

+
Good afternoon everyone! Hope you are well :-) I am here with one of my christmas cards in my effort to try to make christmas less stressful!
I used Lili of the Valley Watching and Waiting stamp which I coloured with promarkers and copics, and glittered with deco glitter.
I paired the image with First Edition Silent Night papers, glitter cardstock and coredination cards in complimenting colours.
I used self adhesive cream lace, die cut wooden snowflakes and gems as my embellishments. I added a little 'Merry Christmas' die cut as my sentiment.

Backlit Pastels Butterfly Canvas

Good afternoon everyone! Hope you are well :-) I am here to show you something I made for my 'All Crafts Challenge' where we encourage people to enter their non card creations :-)
I made a backlit butterfly canvas as a present for a friend.
I used a small canvas, led lights (these dont get hot so are safe), rainbow inks, clear embossing powder, Docrafts butterfly dies and stamps, Memory box butterfly dies and Stampin' Up Butterfly stamp and punch, white cotton and a needle and linen cardstock.
I began by stitching the lights into the back of the canvas with the white thread and needle. I secured each end of thread with a knot and a dab of glue so its strong. This way I can keep lights from all falling to the bottom!
I then cut a panel of linen cardstock to fit my canvas. I then die cut some shapes directly from this panel using the dies and putting it through my grand calibur.
I then decorated the butterflies by stamping in different colour inks and heat embossing over this with clear embossing powder.
I then arranged the butterflies over the front of the canvas and glued them, and then I made little tiny holes to represent a flight path by pricking the cardstock with the needle.
The photos show during the day, in the evening with the lights on, and the canvas on in a dark room.

Lili of the Valley Mermaid Happy Birthday Card

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well! I am here with a card for a friend using a stamp I hadnt got round to inking yet! I loved this stamp and bought it a while ago so its lovely to finally use it :-)
I used My Minds Eye papers with kraft and coredinations cardstock as accents and white card as my base.
I began by colouring the mermaid and seahorses with promarkers and adding glitter accents using distress stickles. I mounted the image on a scalloped circle cut from coredinations cardstock. I then covered my card with a panel of kraft, peach cardstock and mme papers, to which I added a border with kraft, peach cardstock and another mme paper. I placed my image to one side, then embellished with pearls, a bow and a 'Happy Birthday' dome sticker.

A Little Bit Crafty-Less is More!

Good morning everyone! Hope you are well :-) I am here for our 'Less is More' challenge at A Little Bit Crafty this time :-)
I made a little backlit canvas-a cheap but very effective present :-)
I bought a little square canvas and a box of 20 led lights with a battery pack.
I started by sewing the lights into the reverse of the canvas so they are static and stay where I want them. I glued each end of thread to really secure them.
I cut a panel of linen cardstock the same size of the canvas and put the panel through my grand calibur with the Memory box Butterfly heart die, and an extra butterfly die from my stash.
I then painted the butterflies with three colours of cosmic shimmer-making the odd butterfly a pattern of each of the three colours I had used randomly on the heart pattern.
Lastly here is photos of it with the lights on and the lights off, I hope you like it!

Good morning everyone! Hope you are well :-) I am here with a card ive made in my challenge to myself to get most of my christmas cards done in advance this year!
I used a Lili of the Valley James the Bear with Star stamp which I coloured with promarkers, and accented the white areas on the hat with glitter. I cut the image with a spellbinders die and cut a mat for it with the next size up.
I used First Edition Silent Night papers, kraft cardstock, 'Happy Christmas' ribbon from Crafty Ribbons here, wooden snowflake and gems.
I added pearls to my wooden snowflake to make them prettier.
